I think the electrician is going to send me a photo so I’ll share it with you as soon as I get it. It depends on where I decide to hang them. I have a few crystal chandeliers in my stash that will possibly be turned into plug-ins in the future. Anywhere! So if you find a great deal on a chandelier and don’t know where to hang it, buy it and put it on a plug! If you have electrical power, you can add a chandelier. I thought this one was one of the prettiest chandeliers at the reception. And when she moves she can take it with her to her next place! I think she and roommate battled over who got to sit here! She hung this beauty over her favorite reading chair. My niece had a plug-in chandelier in her post- college apartment. Especially if you have a rental and aren’t allowed to switch out lights, this can be the ticket. Putting a chandelier on a plug is a great way to add extra lighting and character to a space. Such pretty beaded details, right? When will someone invent waterproof chandeliers? Too bad they aren’t waterproof, then I would have left them there! That way I can enjoy them all of the time! I admit I loved how they looked hanging from the trees at the lake house. After that they will find a permanent spot at our new house. I’ve loaned these two fixtures to my niece, Faith Elizabeth, for her wedding later this summer. They looked gorgeous at night although I admit the bugs enjoyed them too. They hung from the trees at Happy Hill during the festivities. I had these chandeliers put on a plug for Chase and Brie’s engagement party. The rewiring cost was around $25 per fixture plus the cost of the plug, wire and chain. I can’t wait to see the chandeliers hung in their new apartment! The gold one has flower shaped glass shades and the blue one has scalloped sockets. Aren’t they adorable? This one looks like vintage Hollywood glamour. It took a few weeks but they put each of the lights on a plug and switch. He hung them as decorations for a while then decided he wanted them to actually work! I have a great local lighting company that works on old lights and chandeliers. ![]() I thought they were so unique and interesting but I never found a spot for them. They have a couple that are hardwired but also a few cuties I had put on a plug for them. (Chase & Brianna) They are moving to a brand new loft apartment at the end of May. Also moving are my son and daughter-in-law. We can now focus on our new house and start planning where we are going to place our furniture and what kind of flowers to plant in our urns! We brought our cast iron urns with us so these darlings will be prominently displayed at our new abode. This is our first move in over 15 years and now I remember that selling a house is not for the faint of heart. At least for a week we can NOT worry about final closing details and hassles. Luckily for now, we are at our lake place, Happy Hill. We officially closed on our Doylestown house yesterday and are awaiting settlement on our new house next week. My blog posts have been a bit erratic due to our current in-limbo status. Will it fit? And where? More importantly for me, is where to put my chandeliers? And if you have plug-in chandeliers, then your options increase exponentially! Along with any move comes the inevitable task of moving furniture from one house to the next. Happy Thursday, Friends!
